Half an hour out and the most rural part of the patch. Farm tracks and long drives, which for a mobile mechanic is easier than a city street, not harder.

People assume being furthest out puts them last. It does not, and the access out here is better than anywhere else we go.
A long private drive or a farm yard is close to ideal: space to work, nobody to move for, and no traffic going past. We would rather do a job in Ashbourne than one on a Derby terrace.
The town itself is older and tighter, particularly around the market place, and that is the only part we plan around. The smaller van handles it.
Because it is a longer run we tend to batch Ashbourne jobs into a morning. Ask when you ring and there may already be a day heading out that week.
Older streets around the market place. Smaller van.
DE6Village on the edge of town. Easy access.
DE6On the A52 on the way out, often first on the run.
DE6Long drives and space. Straightforward work.
DE6At the far end towards Uttoxeter. Same price.
DE6Just over the border but covered on this run.
DE6No, and there is no travel charge. Ashbourne is on the patch. It just tends to be a morning slot on a day we are already coming.
A transit-sized van will manage most of them. If it is properly rough, tell us and we will meet you at the road end or plan differently.
Weekly as a rule and more in summer. Ask and we will tell you the next day that is already booked.
Mayfield and Doveridge, yes. Further towards Uttoxeter, send the postcode and you will get a straight answer.
The Ashbourne run goes out on the A52 and picks up Brailsford and Hulland Ward on the way.
