Same oil, same filters, same schedule as a garage would use. The difference is that the car never leaves your address and you get the inspection findings while we are still standing next to it.

Servicing a car outside a main dealer does not void a manufacturer warranty. It has not done since 2003, and the rule that says so is worth knowing about.
The EC Block Exemption Regulation gives you the right to have a car serviced anywhere, as long as the work follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts of matching quality. We do both, and the digital service record is stamped the same way a franchise would stamp it.
What actually goes in matters more than who fits it. We use the oil grade the manufacturer specifies, not the cheapest thing that pours, and the filter is a named brand printed on your invoice rather than “filter” on a line item.
The inspection is the part people undervalue. We are already under the car, so brakes, tyres, bushes, boots and leaks get looked at properly, and you hear about anything borderline before it becomes the reason you are stuck somewhere.
Interim every six months or 6,000 miles, full every twelve months or 12,000. If the car does under 6,000 a year, one full service is usually all it needs.

Guide prices for a standard petrol or diesel engine up to 2.0 litres. Larger engines, long-life oils and some European models cost more, and you will be told the figure before anything is booked.
The reg tells us what your car is actually due.

Prices are what the job starts at for a car this size; anything the van finds is quoted before it is done. Vehicle and mileage information comes from the DVSA record. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
No. Block Exemption gives you the right to have the car serviced anywhere, provided the manufacturer's schedule is followed and parts of matching quality are used. We do both and stamp the digital record accordingly.
If a dealer ever suggests otherwise, ask them to put it in writing. They will not.
Somewhere with about three metres of clear space beside the car, access to the keys, and ideally a flat surface. That is it. You do not need to be there once we have the keys.
Into a sealed container in the van and back to a licensed waste oil handler. It is never poured away and it never gets left with you, which is more than can be said for some driveway servicing.
We tell you, show you, and quote it separately. Nothing extra gets done or added to the invoice without you agreeing first. Plenty of what we find is worth monitoring rather than fixing that day, and we will say which is which.
If you have already paid a dealer for a plan, use it — you have bought those services. Once the plan ends, or if you are considering one, it is worth comparing the total against what the same schedule costs here.
Servicing runs mobile across the whole patch. The only thing your postcode changes is which day the van is already coming your way.
