Twenty-five minutes north and grouped with Belper on the same run. Straightforward access nearly everywhere, and a lot of longer-distance commuter mileage, which shows up in the work.

A lot of cars out here do the A38 and the M1 daily, and what we get called to reflects that.
Brakes and suspension come up more here than anywhere else on the patch. High-mileage commuting eats pads and discs, and the ride out to the motorway is not kind to bushes and drop links.
Access is rarely the problem. Ripley and Heanor are mostly estate housing with driveways and room to work, and the villages around have long drives.
Because it is grouped with Belper, there is usually already a day in the diary heading this way. Ringing and asking which one is worth more than guessing.
Estate housing with driveways throughout.
DE5Covered on the same run, same price.
DE75Small and straightforward, easy access.
DE5Quiet streets, plenty of room to work.
DE5At the north end of the run. Morning slots.
DE55Village work on the way up from Derby.
DE5Mileage and the type of it. Motorway commuting plus the A38 is hard on pads and discs. It is not you and it is not the car being faulty.
Yes, both, on the same run at the same price.
Pads, discs, fluid and calipers, all mobile. Two hours for a typical axle and the car stays where it is.
Usually within a couple of days, sooner if we are already booked on the Belper run that week.
Ripley and Belper run together, taking in Heanor and the villages along the way.
